As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, World Trade Center organized a webinar titled “Smarter Moves for a Safer Digital Experience”, spotlighting how emerging technologies, especially AI, are reshaping the cybersecurity landscape.

The session brought together perspectives from:

• Sujata Misra, GM – Network Infra & Security Operations, Brigade Enterprises Ltd., who set the context by emphasizing why cybersecurity is no longer optional in today’s digital-first world.
• Saumil Shah, Partner – Cyber Security, BDO India LLP, who shared real-world case studies and analogies that made the risks feel personal and relatable.
• Srivathsan Sridharan, Associate Director – BAS Cyber, BDO India LLP, who explained how AI is powering sophisticated social engineering attacks like phishing and deepfakes, and offered practical strategies to stay ahead of them.

Organized in collaboration with knowledge partner BDO India, the session drew participation from over 130 attendees across sectors.

An exclusive roundtable was also held with the Brigade IT team, adding depth to the conversations and enabling more focused discussions on internal cybersecurity practices.

The discussions sparked meaningful reflections and a few second thoughts about what we share online.
